I spent some time with dear little Charlie today when I came home from furniture shopping. What a good girl she was, she sat on my shoulder and watched me drink my coffee and emailed my friends. She seems very intelligent and curious, she looks at me and listens when I speak to her and imitates the washing machine noises. She has figured out how to get on my finger though it takes a little coaxing to get her out the cage and she flies off still. She is such a sweet girl and I love her so much.

Sonny and Tanji have been very noisy lately and I suspect we'll be hearing "shut up ya losers!" every morning soon the way I yell at them. Sonny's learning slowly how to preen and give kisses and when Tanjiro sat with me the other night he was playing with my hair like a good boy.

Did a photo shoot with each budgie and got some lovely shots of each birdie.  I think Charlie's the most photogenic of the 3, she was very well-behaved for the camera and such a good girl. Charlie is very calm and inquisitive around cameras, which makes her a perfect model. Sonny and Tanjiro either wouldn't look at the camera, ran away or hopped up on the camera. I'll be getting a new one soon, as my Canon was faulty and I got a refund. My new camera is a Nikon D3100, it's cool.

I'm sorry if I haven't posted much lately, i keep having problems with my internet. This morning, Sonny helped me make my toast and ate some peanut butter I put on my finger. He's just like a little baby, he's truly his mummy's boy. Currently, I've got Tanji on my shoulder playing Boom Town with me and he's helping me tweet rude jokes. Charlie's been a good girl, sitting on dad's finger, though she still hasn't learned not to bite me when I give her a kiss.

Sorry again for the absence, I kept having issues with my browser (firefox), but it's sorted out for now.  Charlie's learned kissy noises now and Sonny has been such a cute little munchkin for us lately. He lies on his back in my hand and clutches my finger like a baby.

Tanjiro has been feeding Charlie so much that now Charlie doesn't even touch her seed dish any more.  It's so cute how he's a great dad to her, he just adores baby birds. I remember when Sonny first joined the family, Tanjiro was such a great daddy to him, feeding him and looking after him, it's so sweet. Poor old Buster did the same for Tanjiro when we brought him home, dear old Buster was so ill but he still found the energy to look after the new baby and it was so touching.
